The rest of August in Portugal!🇵🇹 We venture The rest of August in Portugal!🇵🇹 We ventured North from Lisbon with a stop in Coimbra, and stayed in Telões. We visited Quinta da Aveleda, a beautiful estate and winery, where we had a picnic that included uninvited peacocks and roosters..🦚 (#quinnfin was NOT a fan). On the only rainy day, we went to Braga to see the cathedral built in the 11th century, and the Bom Jesus do Monte, “the stairway to heaven” ☔️. On the hottest day of the trip, we ventured further North to the border with Spain to visit the national park, Peneda-Gerês. We hiked to a waterfall and took a dip in the water 🥾🌊 Until next time! ✈️
